Windows remote management with fliix Ops
What is the fliix Ops Windows Agent?
It is the device-side component of fliix Ops that connects Windows clients and servers to the browser console. From there, teams review status, run administration and use interactive terminal tools under multi-tenant roles and permissions.
Which Windows systems can be managed?
The agent targets modern Windows client and server environments. Interactive browser terminal sessions (CMD/PowerShell) target Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019 and newer. Older systems can use non-interactive command execution. Exact capability support is confirmed during onboarding.
Do I need remote desktop for every task?
No. Many support and administration tasks run from the console through the interactive terminal, file manager, registry, services, updates, Defender and more—often without taking over the user’s screen. Optional RustDesk remains available when a full interactive screen session is required.
How are actions documented?
In the console you primarily see device logs and action feedback—not a dedicated job list UI. Access is limited by roles and feature permissions configured for the account and tenant.
Can I run the same task on many devices?
Yes. Supported maintenance, software, update, power and configuration actions can be started for multiple selected devices while results remain visible per system.
Are all security features available on every device?
No. Availability depends on Windows edition, OS components, Defender/Firewall state, agent version and the active license and feature configuration. Third-party antivirus may be detected without being controlled by fliix Ops.
How is Windows Agents licensed?
Windows Agents is a paid product licensed per managed device. With at least one active paid device license on the account, included platform tools such as SSL Monitoring, Dynamic DNS and One-Time Secrets become available as well.
Is BitLocker management available today?
No. BitLocker status and management is planned and intentionally listed under the roadmap—not as a current capability.
