## Hero

fliix Ops vs. Atera

**Keep Atera for RMM and helpdesk. Add fliix Ops for hands-on Windows work.**

Atera remains the platform for remote monitoring and management, patching, helpdesk and ticketing, with the AI Copilot for technicians and the autonomous agent Robin (formerly IT Autopilot) for self-service. fliix Ops does not replace that. Beside it, technicians work directly on Windows clients and servers; its AI assistance is optional, in Beta and runs with your own key.

## Verdict

Verdict

**Atera and fliix Ops are stronger together when tickets and the Windows device both matter.**

Keep Atera for RMM, helpdesk and Robin (formerly IT Autopilot) on routine end-user requests. Add fliix Ops where technicians still need the actual Windows state and the tools to fix it, with or without AI, without replacing Atera.

**The Windows gap beside Atera**

Hands-on administration of Windows clients and servers: terminal, files, registry, disks and findings rated by your policy, with AI only if you choose it.

**Stronger together**

Atera keeps helpdesk, monitoring, patching and self-service through Robin. fliix Ops is the technician workspace for Windows beside that stack.

**Keep Atera for**

RMM plus helpdesk and ticketing in one product, AI agents for self-service and patching by policy across several platforms. Atera licenses per technician with unlimited devices; fliix Ops per managed device.

## Fit

Combined use

**Keep Atera for the service desk, and add the Windows workspace**

**Keep Atera when …**

#### Points

- RMM and helpdesk should come from one vendor.
- AI should answer end users and handle routine requests.
- macOS and Linux are part of the estate.
- Many devices are looked after by few technicians.

**Add fliix Ops when …**

#### Points

- Technicians still need deep tools on the Windows device itself.
- Some customers do not want AI, and AI must stay optional.
- Findings rated by your policy should open terminal, files or registry on that device.
- Windows servers need the same hands-on tools as clients.

**Stronger together when …**

#### Points

- Atera keeps tickets, monitoring, patching and Robin for routine requests.
- fliix Ops is the workspace for hands-on Windows clients and servers.
- AI in fliix Ops stays optional and runs with your own key.
- Neither product is asked to replace the other.

## Limits

Openly stated

**What fliix Ops does not cover**

These points matter most when comparing with Atera.

- No helpdesk, ticketing or end-user portal.
- No AI that answers end users or changes devices on its own; the fliix Ops AI only reads and suggests.
- No macOS, Linux or mobile devices; the Windows Agent manages Windows only.
- No scheduled scripts or automated remediation workflows; bulk actions are started by a technician.
- No freely configurable performance monitoring with own thresholds; for this, fliix Ops can install and connect Zabbix Agent 2.
- The AI assistance is in Beta and needs your own AI key; your AI provider bills its usage.

## Faq

FAQ

**Common questions about fliix Ops and Atera**

**Q:** Can fliix Ops replace Atera?

No. It has no helpdesk, no ticketing and no AI agent for end users such as Robin (formerly IT Autopilot). Add the fliix Ops Windows Agent beside Atera when technicians still need the Windows device itself: terminal, files, registry and findings rated by your policy, with AI only if you switch it on.

**Q:** How does the AI differ?

Atera builds its operating model on AI agents that take on routine work. In fliix Ops the AI is an optional analysis tool for the technician: it reads data on one Windows device with read-only tools, suggests a fix and runs with your own AI key.

**Q:** Which product is cheaper?

That cannot be answered responsibly without the number of technicians, devices, add-ons and contract terms. Atera licenses per technician, fliix Ops per device. Compare quotations for your actual use case.

**Q:** Can both products be used together?

Yes. Atera can cover helpdesk, monitoring and patching while fliix Ops serves as the hands-on workspace for Windows systems.
